Ages, been ages since I last updated my blog, been lazy and I couldn't find a good reason for me to update really, BUT today, I'm up to writing again (for I don't know how long) because I've found a reason. Actually I am not a big fan of TV but TV has became part of my life as I spend most of my time staying at home. Since a few weeks ago, I saw an ad about THE MEANING OF LIFE (in my opinion) every single day, and the day had came today, at last. I've just watched a very inspirational TV show called Ku Mohon (Astro Ria, Thursday, 10pm) and it taught me about life.

The very first episode was about Foo Hee Boon, a cancer patient (http://fhbadventure.blogspot.com), who in my opinion is a very strong and inspirational person, I was truly touched for the whole 30 minutes, don't ask me how much tissues I used as I've became really emotional since.... like 5 years ago, when my dad passed away.... I have no idea why, I used to not cry especially in front of other people but now, I'm crying out all my tears for anything and everything that touches my feelings, it's a way of feeling better actually, at least I think so. Anyway, back to Foo Hee Boon, I am still amazed of how strong he appeared to be in the show, talking about his life, his experiences, his fears, his hopes, and what it feels like to be him.... for sure he will have add a reader of his blog, that's me, it's... unbelievable.... sorry, I'll become really emotional again if I don't stop this blog, I'm off to bed for now, thinking of how to appreciate my life more, because we ain't going to live forever, never know when is the last day of your life......

Just a quick update here, in case anyone wondering, yes, I've graduated, finally I am officially jobless, haha... but I have plans, don't worry about me, I will tell you what I am up to when I finished my plans ;) Graduation was okay, just mum came to see me, I don't blame my siblings, one is pregnant, the other was operated, the other working, so just me and mum then. I will upload some pics later in flickr.com, don't know when cuz I haven't got the photos with me yet. Apart from that, I went to Brunei, a very nice country overall, very peaceful. but not a country that I can spend the rest of my life in! Small country, but the King, I respect the King, he did a very good job, a very good leader, you'll have to go to Brunei to see how the people love him! I uploaded some pics of Brunei (and me in them!), so enjoy yeah! Just got my computer back, waiting for laptop, miss it so so much! I'll update again when I feel like to, haha.... take care guys! A month had passed, nothing much happened, same old really.... I'm honestly still trying to get over my ex, oh dear :) It's not easy, when your first love fell apart, what left is just pieces of me and my heart, just like jigsaw puzzles.... anyone? anyone out there willing to help me finishing the puzzles? Must be wondering why I suddenly feel so... soppy? Well, I watched Channel V and listened to the song Thinking of You by 'N Sync (yeah, Boybanddddd!) for couple of times, and it made me think, thinked of what happened and thinked of him, silly I know :) But it's the most precious memory, it is, always will be. I don't even know what I am writing now, sleepy, zzzzzzzzzzz

Never take NO as an answer.... I've sort of think that we should take no as an answer somehow. We cannot force someone to say yes, because I believe that none of us would like it when people force you to do something that you do not like. Not feeling very well lately, no idea why, getting old getting old :D I got a bad news about my good friend, Li Ting's dad, who involved in an accident and passed away last week, it's a very sad news.... I hope she'll be fine because her family needs her more than ever.... Condolences....

Past, Present and Future...

"We will see what the future holds" - that's what we say when we are not certain of what's next. But have you ever thought when exactly is "future"? It can be the next minute, tomorrow, next month, 10 years, infinity.... so we can't really know when future is! Well, I personally live in present, sometimes look back for couple of minutes, to refresh my memory and to learn from the mistakes I made and wait for the uncertain future. Not actually wait, just live the present to see the future, I wish I'm old b4 I die, after I see the world, b4 I get so many uncurable deseases, hehe.... so, live in present, look back for memory and live to see the future :)

Why can people be so cruel? Broke up with you and have fun with another person the next day? This is not specify to any gender really, because this happens to everyone out there, you and me. I've just seen that happened again today, in front of my eyes, it's just not right, but hey, I guess people would say that's life! Are human always, ALWAYS want what they can't have? Never satisfy with what they have now? maybe that's the reason why we are human, that's one of the simple fact that makes us human. I am human, I always want more, and want what I can't have, but at the end of the day, I will think of what I wanted earlier that day, ( say when I wake up at the morning, I wanted to have corn soup that day, but I only had chicken soup for the day), and I will want myself to be grateful of what I had today, because chicken soup is indeed nice soup too, hehe.... but deep down, I will always yern for corn soup, it's a never ending story, you'll always want more and more and more.... learn to be grateful!

Saturday... raining now, I love the sound of rain, especially when I am in bed, it's like lullaby to me :D I've been spending my time at home, doing chores and relazing (relax+lazing), hehe... still deciding whether to further my study or work. well, I think I am not ready for work, haha.... so I guess there is an answer for this ;) Oh, I've finally know how to ride motorcycle, thank god! and another good news is that I've found my long lost adopted grandma, Vivian! Hadn't contact each other for 4 years and couple of days ago I emailed her, I have no idea why I did that but now, I am glad I did that :D

The word LOVE is very familiar to us, we've been hearing the word every single day of our lives, but do we actually understand the real meaning of love? Don't look at me, I don't have the answer, haha... well, here is my picture, I took it in Kota Kinabalu, near my hometown (Papar) couple of weeks ago. I realized that I love being in my state, my country. I have always thought that I would want to live somewhere else, and yeah, I admit that, but home sweet home, I'm like a bird (reminds me of Nelly Furtado, great singer she is!), no matter how far I go, I always find the comfort and love that I look for in my home, if you don't feel it, I guess you are like reptiles! (sorry to be a lil rude, hehe...). I've learnt from my previous relationship that love is something that can always, always shown no matter you are together or not. Love, for me is precious. Love doesn't mean you have to be together, even if he/she/it is far away, he/she/it will always be in your heart, in your MEMORY. I watched Mitch Albom's The 5 People You Meet in Heaven last week on Hallmark Channel, it was one of the meaningful movie I've ever seen. This hero, Eddie lost his wife who he truly loves, and could not understand why she left so early... but being the 4th person who he met in heaven, his wife explained to him that she has not leave him, she has always known how much he loves her, and feel the love of Eddy. After you died, you can't touch someone you love, you can't be together, you can't share your lives with them, but love is changed into other form, which is MEMORY. I hope no one who reads this will run away from memory, no matter how bad it is.... Memory for me, is one of the possession that I cherish, and I am trying to "burn" all my memories into a "CD" (diary i mean) b4 I forget about them, I'm getting older, not getting any younger! :)

Wow guys... sorry I hadn't been updating my blog for 6 months! haha... couple of viewers told me that for couple of times, honestly I was (and still am) a bit lazy to write anything in this blog, people who knows me will understand how lazy I couldbe :D Anyway, I am not quite sure where I should begin.... Well, I guess I will want to keep the entry simple this time, so I'll write the main points, main events that happened for the past 6 months, yeah?

October 2004

Final exams, I got really good marks this time, I was almost shocked to death, haha... because I didn't expect it, I did notstudy much, I did not go to lectures for a lot of times, hehe... but thank god... I went to Kuala Lumpur (KL) for couple of days to meet my friends, it was awesome! Spent days in UiTM, haha... very nice indeed. Couple of days later, I went back toTerengganu, went to Tanjong Jara Resort, seriously it is "Unmistakably Malay", for those people out there who wants a simplebut nice place, this is indeed the top choice, but check the prices first, yeah? The food there was REALLY nice, the workerswere friendly, the facilities were great, the monsoon was good too, haha.... because October is usually rainy season for East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. I also went to Kenyir Lake,it was beautiful... I can't find the words to describe, BUT unfortunately the facilities were not taken care of, oh well... but it is still a nice place to end up in for a holiday!

November 2004

Back to my hometown, Papar. Don't know where it is? search for Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, you'll find it :) Went to see my dad'sgraveyard, wow... can't believe that it has been 3 years since he left us... sigh... didn't do much during holidays, justmeeting relatives and had some BBQs, which was nice. It is always nice to see my nephew (Jr.) and niece (Jazebelle). I've beenaway from home for 4 years and everytime I go back to see my family, everyone changed, older....

December 2004

Back to Terengganu, finished my sampling for final year project, thank god! I wouldn't have to wake up early to go and birdwatch!haha... I went to KL on 22nd, didn't really know I would end up to, but haha... after being in KL for couple of days, my friends and I went to Malacca, very nice xmas celebration this year, at least I didnt have to stare at the wall on xmaseve! We went to Portugese Village that night, interesting. I went back to KL alone after that, went to see another friend, you know who :D

January 2005

Went to Kuantan, Pahang for a day trip, with my roommate and 2 other friends, interesting place but not a place that I would wantto end up in for long term really. I love to travel and see new places, seriously. So if anyone out there wants to make me happy,give me free tickets or make me a millionaire, haha...

February 2005

I went back to hometown again for Chinese New Year, nice to see LOTS of relatives who I hadn't met for ages! and nicer to getHong Bao (red packet with money in it, yay!) Valentine's Day?mm... nothing much happened, same old, just another day for me. Well, it has been a year since I broke up with my ex, I don't know what to say about it... honestly I still miss him, such a pretender I am. I want to thank everyone who helped me go through the tough period, though I don't think any of them will actually read this, hehe... I have been single for a year now, a lot been happening but I don't think I am up for another relationshipnow, UNLESS he can really make me realize how I am wasting my youth and time mourning about what had happened to my previous relationship, eeeee.... pathetic, hehe... I can't say I am not looking but this world is running out of guys who are interesting,well, at least for me. Handed in my thesis, draft actually, thank god....

Miracle.... an Oriental Dwaft Kingfisher just fell off in front of me from nowhere! it's a migratory bird, guess it was too exhausted at that time. I can't explain the feeling, just imagine how many people would have the chance to hold a kingfisher without catching it with mist-nets :) I showed it to my lecturers and I guess they were happy with it, to actually see it alive I suppose! Took some pictures and then, I released it, I'm so happy today :)

Finally I am back again, hehe.... went to Tumpat, Kelantan for about 4 days, it was wonderful! Went to some mangrove by boats, did birdwatching but not many birds there, did inventory, then... oh, also we did replanting of rhizophora, the seedlings were 5 feet tall! the place was so... oh my god, i was so stressed! not many trees, for some reason, the place was filled by dead trees and mud! I almost fainted because it was HOT! but overall, it was nice :) when we had free time, we went to Kota Bharu, and Pengkalan Kubor (Which I managed to go to Takbar, Thailand), Kelantan is a lot better than I thought, at least it is A LOT better than Terengganu, you have to see it before you judge it really. Last Sunday we went to Kuala Krau and Kuala Gandah, Pahang, it was a long trip. Went to see Gaurs and Elephants! so here I am, back to Terengganu again... did birdwatching this morning, saw some lifers :)

Let's see, I'll be going for YET another fieldtrip on Sunday (For a week!), in Tumpat (Kelantan), border of Malaysia-Thailand. Ahh... yet another fieldtrip on sunday, for a week! We're going to Kelantan, for mangrove subject. not sure how it is going to be though, I'm so tired of fieldtrips now... One of my lecturers asked me what my plan is after I graduated (hopefully next year), I told him I'm going to get married! hehe... hell no! He asked me whether I am interested in doing Msc., mm... maybe, I'm still thinking about it because I might have to switch a bit, like more to lab works, about patogen or something like that, maybe like the bird flu thing, sigh... we'll see. If have grants, then I am pretty sure I will, not like I HAVE to get married :) wish me luck...

Been very hectic lately, ugh.... Merdeka tomorrow! yay! happy cuz it's holiday! I have a lot of assignments to be done but too lazy to do it. Oh, good news is that my Aussie friend is coming to Terengganu this Oct, very happy about it! This is going to be the 3rd time we meet this year, haha... interesting indeed, of how often we can actually meet, that's the price of long distance friendship :) I guess everyone who is reading my blog knows that I am single now, read my ex's blog and apparently he was having fun with his gf, I'm happy to know that :) At least he found someone better, I'm still single, so IF there is any interesting creatures out there that you find disturbing or boring, you all can always "divert" him to me, haha... Happy Independence Day, Malaysians! "Yang tinggal dekat luar negara tu janganlah lupa kat tanah air tercinta ni, jangan mengkhianat!" haha.... for those who can't understand Malay, basically the phrase means something like to those who stays oversea, always remember our country and don't betray it, haha... Happy happy joy joy! saw some lifers for the last 2 days! lifer means new species that i had never seen b4, very nice. one of them was Black-shouldered Kite, very Elegant! also the Oriental Piep Hornbills, common koel and common sandpipers( migratory birds), also the lovely malkoha! and i couldnt identify one of the migratory birds, i am pretty sure it's some kind of plover, but not sure which species.... Pretty happy with my life now, at least i have something to look forward to, which i can (hopefully) practice for the rest of my life, hehe.... you know what kind of person i am, i can get bored easily :)

Hey all! How's everyone? I'm doing okay here, just had wildlife management test, ugh... not bad considering howI started to read the notes an hour b4 test :) So, I'm back from Sekayu and Kuala Selangor Nature Park, I really enjoyed! Sekayu....I was there for 3 days, I had to lead the bird's group, we were doing 14 different kind of assignments, such as small mammals, birds, bats, fishes, herpetofauna,vegetations, insects, it was really nice. We used the mist-net to catch the birds and bats. They are cute, seriously! I didn't think that I would have guts to touch the bats, let alone release them from the mist net :) caught about 17 birds, 13 species! Nature park was nice! food was great, course was great, people was great! I was a beginner but they didn't underestimate me, they helped a lot :) got free book(birds) and tshirt, of course the most important thing, experiences :) Glad to meet 2 nice danish, I pretty like one of them, hehe... Now I am considering to stay in peninsular malaysia, not sure really....

So, I guess this will be the last blog for the next two weeks, I suppose. Going to FINALLY finish my proposal, which should not be much trouble with it. Then on sunday I'll be off to Setiu Wetland, looking forward to it :) My friend's going to do her final year project's sampling there, so why not I join, since nothing much happening here. Then on tuesday I'll be off to Sekayu, it's like recreation park with waterfall, should be nice too. Going to net some birds, bats. also small mammals, fish etc, and flora too. Thennnnnn, kuala selangor nature park, which I have been looking forward to go to for a long time :) wish me luck, I shall come back in one piece and tell you all about it. I don't care whether you want to read or not but I'll type anyway, hehe....take care!

ahhhh!! How I wish we could go to Larut Matang, Perak... the world's best managed mangrove!! because of 8 fucking IDIOTS we are not going! The lecturer said IF those idiots change their minds and want to go to Larut Matang, then they'll have to beg him, we'll see we'll see :) still pretty disappointed, because I have been looking forward to seeing the Milky Storks, ugh.... other than that, nothing much lately, busying with proposal, that's about it. Going to have break from 6th to 14th, yay! Gotta go now, sorry it's short! Take care!

So yeah, I'm back! Pretty disappointed... the guides there should have waited till the turtle lays her eggs... we went there when she was still trying to find place to lay eggs, so you know, we... well, THEY(my fellow friends) were making noises and god knows, turtles are very shy! she ended up going back to the sea! very big too! saw and touched some hatchling ,very cute! (like me!) Released them into the sea, we were happy to see that event but at the same time, I was thinking about their future, about their survivalship... only if we can make the changes. Oh, saw lots of Hornbills too! I was pretty surprised about that! Took some pictures with the norwegians, hehe... they are friendly, I'm even more so, yeah right! I'm glad to know that Nalsuj is alive too, thought he was dead (choy!) hehe.... jangan marah ah! Nowadays I am so glad that I came to Terengganu, I didn't choose to study this course but now that I am in my final year, I suppose I did the right choice! (not like I had lots of choices at that time anyway, haha...) I'm enjoying the birdwatching, I am enjoying the beach ( yeah right) in our campus, though my face is pretty much full of pimples and sunburnt now, hehe.... I am happy, at least I can enjoy my last year, I wasted 2 years thinking about why I came here, why I bother to study conservation, but in the end, I feel like I don't want to end this Uni life, I enjoy it a lot. but of course I will have to graduate sooner rather than later! I want to go to other places and learn more things, you know, I am not the kind of person who can stay in one place for a long time :) opps, gotta go now, have Tissue Culture test tomorrow night! wish me luck! Thank god... i presented my final year project proposal today, and it went very well, a lot better than i thought! guess i shouldn't have underestimating myself :) surprisingly for my supervisor, he thought i wouldn't be able to answer the questions asked by the profs and Drs, but i did, hehe....pretty glad :) so, i'll be off to Paka to see the turtles tomorrow afternoon, yay! other than learning birdwatching, i think i'm pretty much into photography too now, uncle! hehe.... i borrowed my supervisor's camera and some of the pictures i took came out well! life... so much to learn. learning new things everyday! uncle, sorry ah i am too lazy to view your blog! haven't got much time actually :( have to finish my proposal soonish... ali, thanks for the comment, keep on commenting, i'll need it! take care all!

Mm....haven't wrote for quite a while, was pretty busy. I went to KL on Thursday night, I really had fun there considering how long I hadn't been there :) Spent a lot too,ugh...shoes shoes shoes, haha...not like I had lots of money, but I couldn't find any shoes that I like in Terengganu, oh well. went bird watching today, had fun, saw stock billed kingfishers, flyeaters, magpie robins, and I still have to identify one species of bird that I haven't seen b4, ugh.... tired, ciao!

*Yawning* I feel so so tired, finished my concept paper (for final year project),going to start doing proposal soonish. Pretty crazy cuz I finished the paper in like 2 hours! haha....guess that's me, I am VERY good in doing last minute works :) I did bird watching this afternoon, very interesting, saw lots of monitor lizards too! Last night was nice, we had a night lecture, a good friend of mine came and picked me up, AND gave me some cake, black forest cake, which tasted very bad! Cake from resort, god knows why... but it's nice, at least he remembered about me, who is hungry most of the time.I guess my friends know about that, hehe....especially Alex (what are we going to have for lunch?dinner?I'm hungry!)I know how annoying I can be about food :) I'm VERY fussy, I will not eat if the food is bad (for me), I don't know why really.... I've met some nice guys since last February, interestingly all of them understand about my weird behaviour, about how fussy I am, about chicken feet, AND they can remember every single food that I like and don't like, maybe I am destined to have a caring boyfriend :) I have always felt lucky, my ex cared and still cares about me, and now, my friends too. " I have a cunning plan...." I want to have a boyfriend/husband who can cook,hehe.... going to Sekayu Recreational park tomorrow, sigh.... I feel so tired but I have to go, orientation for new juniors. oh, for those who don't know about this, I am studying Conservation and Management of Biodiversity :) Also, I might go to KL next week, argh... then going to watch turtles, elephants, mangroves replanting! ouch... My life is like a broken pencil now,pointless. All I have to do is to finish my study and that's it, we'll see what's next after study, hopefully it'll be more exciting in future :) Can't believe how stupid I was for hurting one of the greatest person I have ever met, guess that's me, always ALWAYS hurt peoples' hearts...no turning back anyway, like what Malays always say "terlajak perahu boleh diundur,terlajak kata....", okay....i cant remember the phrase now, but it means something like if you said something,no matter how good or bad it is, you can never take it back, which i think is true after what happened :( sometimes I feel like I am a turnip (just like Baldrick of the Blackadder series), never use my brain to think b4 I speak,haha...guess that's a lesson that I should learn now that I am 22.... haven't got a spare brain cell to think of what to do today, maybe someone can suggest me, any activities at all....ugh.... BORED OUT OF MY SKULL!

I'm so tired, mentally tired... lots to be done and I am sleepy most of the times, hehe....silly or what? We had meeting at 11pm! Have to go to the culture cell's Lab soonish,ugh... interestingly, I don't seem to understand much of what the lecturer taught, but still, I am interested in attending his class. yeah, you guessed, I am weak in science and I still am not quite sure how I managed to go through all these years, haha... Read my close friend's blog, pretty interesting because I have to point out my stand too about what he wrote, I am not against gays/lesbians/bisex, I know most religions are against it, but hey, why not think on the other side, or think outside the box for a little while. If you believe about God,about the creator, then you should understand that not every one in this world would want to be themselves. I know we can change if we want to, but somehow. How about the transexual/transvertite? I am sick of people with closed mind, doesn't mean that you have to be gays etc to be open minded. It's enough to be neutral about their stands. Plus, they won't harm you or anything, right? I'm disappointed about the whole thing, most people still have the negative thinking about it, we'll see one day, it's up to you about your belief/stands/views, but for me, I strongly not against homosexuality (and I am not lesbian or bisexual for your information :)) so, any opinions? Take care :)

I've been sitting here for at least 2 hours trying to find journals for my final year project but zip, nothing, nada, only God knows how i feel now, haha.... so yeah, for your information, I don't really have time to create new blogs or design or anything, I will do it when I have time, next year i guess, haha....Interesting thing, we had firedrill on Friday night and haha....I, as the head of my level (in hostel) was woken up by my friend, and I didn't bother to knock on the others' doors, what a leader I am, haha....but yeah, I didn't like it when I first learnt about having to be a leader, it's not easy but so far I am enjoying it, at least I am happy to see the happy faces of the friends/seniors/juniors who stay at my level of hostel :) I believe that everyone deserves good treatment, I mean there is no need for me to scold anyone to make sure they listen to me. Lots of fieldtrips this semester, oh well... found out that I won't be having holidays after all, ugh....so sad....Sorry it's so short but I have to rush back to have dinner, then....do some literature review, MAYBE, haha....or maybe zzzzz, hehe....take care!Miss you,uncle Henry! when are you going to find an Aunt for me? haha....

Feeling so so tired now, mentally tired actually. or should I say that I am a reckless girl?hehe....what happened couple of days ago?mm....oh, I actually am the head for my level (I am staying in hostel,we have like hostel committee)soooo,the story is, I had to talk to like 20 people of my level last night, I was quite....well, I did't make any preparation,but thank God I did *pretty* good, haha....considering how I hate public speaking,haha.... Proud of myself because I did it, luckily all of them were sporting :) I don't like to be leader, I don't like to manage other people, I don't like to direct people, but I guess this is my opportunity to be a better person. All my life I had been a loser,think this is the best time for me to change :) Pretty happy too to be able to keep in touch with my ex, and yeah, you can add my blog to your link ( you know who you are, my ex :)) I talked to a Somalian today, he is taking his PhD here in our uni. It was interesting because he was so friendly and that he enjoys being here in Malaysia! I suppose the next aim is for me to talk to the Norwegian guy, haha....like I said b4, I want people to forget about discrimination, I respect other peoples' religions, beliefs etc and I hope people will do the same to me and to other people :) That's about it for now, TIRED :)) Take care!

Finally...been waiting for days to get online,been very busy lately,hate it.Anyway, I stay in hostel with 3 other friends of mine, 2 muslims and another one is catholic. People were wondering because I chose to stay with my muslim friend. I have a dream... (yeah right!)I want people to know that religions/races are not a big problem for human being. I can't understand why people are fighting(or should I say WAR?)because of that. One more thing, I hate discrimination, HATE. I know how it feels like, really :) I feel comfortable to have friends from all races and religions but still hope that other people can do the same too! Today was interesting, we had an early class at 8am, God knows how I managed to get up, haha....interesting because there were 4 foreign exchange students in our class, Norwegians. The guy was wow, looks a bit like Ashton Kutcher with brownish hair. (Hopefully he is not a toyboy!!) life's busy lately, it's a good thing actually, because I need to do some thing to forget about my heartache,haha.... still miss my X, coping anyway :) Take care!

Ahhhh....feeling pretty sleepy now :) Woke up at noon and took a nap till 6pm,hehe....I'll start my final year next week,I've been in Terengganu for the last 2 years and I quite enjoy it despite the difficulties I've been facing here.I was quite disappointed couple of days ago because of the discrimination that my friends and I faced, I am not going to say what it is here, not an appropriate place to talk about that kind of problems :) It's better now,even better because a friend of mine who I (really!) like called me from Aus,hehe....I miss my family,I miss my friends back in my hometown,I miss the calm life I had, but I guess c'est la vie :) My Uni college is by the beach, known as campus by the beach, it's quite okay except that it can be pretty stressful because of the lack of entertainments here, no cinemas,no pubs/discos, no shopping malls :) I'm going to start my final year project about Ornithology soonish,pretty busy lately....that's about it for now, will write when i have time :) Take care,tata for now!
